Awakening the Heart

During our poetry unit, we used this book a lot!  Georgia Heard gets into helping students find a love for poetry.  Through fun activities like her heart map, Heard helps teachers find fun an engaging ways for students to enter the world of poetry.  As it says in the title, it is catered toward all elementary and middle grades teachers, so it covers a wide range of grade levels.  This book is a must have for all teachers!
