Global Read Aloud

This semester I also learned about the global read aloud.  This is a program that takes place around the world!  Teachers all read the same books, depending on the grade level they teach, and they can connect to other classrooms throughout the world.  Their are teachers who create full units of instruction to go along with the books, that they are generous enough to share with teachers all over!  It is a great way to teach students in an engaging way, help them collaborate about their reading, and gain global awareness about the classrooms they connect with.
